Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • writing the title using capital letters in the input metadata

Author Guidelines

Writing should be submitted according to the following restrictions:

  1. Manuscript should be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia and be submitted online via journal website. Online Submission will be charged at no Cost. Author must login in order to make submission.
  2. Manuscript should contain at least 2.000 words and should not exceed 8 pages including embedded figures and tables, without any appendix, and the file should be in Microsoft Office Word 93-2007(.doc) format. It should be prepared  in A4 paper (21cm x 29.7cm) using 2.5 cm for inside margin and 2 cm for top, bottom, and outside margins.
  3. Title, Abstract, and Keywords should be written both in English and bahasa (writing the title using capital letters)
  4. The entire manuscript should be typed using Times New Roman (TNR) font in single spaced. Another font types can be used for special purposes. The title, author's name and affiliation address written in single column and centered format. While another parts of the subsequent manuscript should be written in two columns, justify, columns width 8cm, and columns spaced of 0.5 cm.
  5. Title should be less than 15 words, title case, small caps, centered, bold, font type Times New Roman (TNR), font size 18, and single spaced. The author's name separated with a comma and written using 13 TNR , title case, centered, and bold. Affiliation written sequentially using 9 TNR centered, and italic.
  6. Abstract contains neither pictures nor tables, justified, in 9 TNR, single spaced, and should not exceed 250 words in Bahasa Indonesia or 150 words in English. Heading is 'Abstract' (in English) and 'abstrak' (in Bahasa Indonesia): in italics and bold.
  7. Keywords contain three to five words/phrases separated with coma and should be justified, 9 TNR and single spaced. Heading is Keywords' (in English) and 'Kata Kunci' (in Bahasa Indonesia): in italics and bold.
  8. The maint text should be written in 10 TNR single-spaced, justified and first line indent 0.63 cm. Consists of: Introduction, Main Content (Method/Material/etc), Result and Discussion, and Conclusion;  followed by Acknowledgment and References.
  9. Heading should be made in four levels. Level five cannot be accepted.
    • Heading 1: title case, small caps, centered, bold, 10 TNR, single spaced, Roman numbered followed by dot
    • Heading 2: title case, left aligned, bold, 10 TNR, single spaced, Capital numbered followed by dot
    • Heading 3: title case, left aligned, italic, 10 TNR, single spaced, numbered by number followed by closed bracket
    • Heading 4 is not recommended, however, it could still be accepted with the format of: sentence case, left indent 0.63 mm, hanging indent 0.63 mm, italic, 10 TNR, single spaced, numbered by small cap followed by closed bracket        
    • Heading 5 cannot be accepted in the manuscript
  10. Figures and tables should be in black and white, 150-300 dpi resolution, and if it is made in color, it should be readable when it is later printed in black and white. Figure and table should be clearly readable and in a proportional measure to the overall page. Figures / tables should be placed centered in column. Large figures and tables may span across both columns and must be placed at the top or bottom of the page.
  11. Figure captions should be below the figures; numbered, in 8 TNR, centered, and single spaced. For layouting purpose, please provide the respective captioned figure/table in with extension .tif/.jpg/.jpeg within a particular folder apart from the manuscript.
  12. Table heads should appear above the tables; roman numbered, small caps, centered, 8 TNR.
  13. Mathematical equation should be clearly written, numbered orderly, and accompanied with any information needed.
  14. Header and footer including page number must not be used. All hypertext links and section bookmarks will be removed from papers. If you need to refer to an Internet email address or URL in your paper, you must type out the address or URL fully in Regular font.
  15. Citation and Reference are written according to IEEE style. Citations numbering should be numbered in [1], [2], [3], ... format, according to appearance order. Written in centered, hanging indent  0,63 cm, 8 TNR, and single spaced. Refer simply to the reference number, as in [3].
  16. If multiple reference used, each number separated using comas as in [2], [3], [4]-[6].
  17. Minimum reference is 10 references must be from the last 10 years

  19. The Board is authorized to reject a manuscript based on peer reviewer advice and make a necessary changes or adjustment related with language properties without altering the substance. Substance editing would be consulted with the first author.
