Sebagai negara kepulauan dengan keberagaman budaya dan bahasa, Indonesia memegang peran penting dalam menyimpan dan merawat warisan budaya. Salah satu warisan tersebut adalah aksara Lontara, sebuah sistem tulisan tradisional yang telah digunakan secara luas di Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini melakukan perbandingan beberapa arsitektur CNN untuk klasifikasi aksara Lontara dalam konteks OCR. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa arsitektur CNN yaitu VGG16 mencapai performa terbaik dengan akurasi training validation sebesar 97% dan testing sebesar 90% dibandingkan dengan arsitektur VGG19, ResNet, dan ResNetV2.
