Sosialisasi Potensi Ekonomi Sampah MMP Untuk Masyarakat di Wilayah Bekasi Timur

Masalah limbah plastik kemasan berbahan campuran di Indonesia, khususnya di wilayah perkotaan seperti Bekasi, menjadi tantangan serius karena sulitnya proses daur ulang akibat struktur lapisannya yang kompleks. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi warga RW 023 Villa Taman Kartini, Bekasi Timur, dalam mengenali potensi ekonomi sirkular dari limbah MMP. Melalui pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam lima tahap, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, koordinasi, sosialisasi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa meskipun tingkat kesadaran masyarakat terhadap isu MMP tinggi, tindakan pengelolaan masih rendah akibat keterbatasan infrastruktur dan sistem pendukung. Setelah sosialisasi, 96% responden menunjukkan ketertarikan terhadap produk hasil daur ulang, menandakan terbentuknya motivasi perilaku positif. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi dasar pembentukan bank sampah MMP berbasis komunitas sebagai model pengelolaan ramah lingkungan di tingkat lokal.
