Saat ini sebagian dari mereka yang menjadi anak asuh panti ada yang sudah menginjak dewasa dan kebanyakan dari mereka sudah menyelesaikan sekolah menengah atas dan ada yang sedang menempuh Pendidikan di perguruan tinggi. Mereka masih tinggal dipanti dan merasa tergerak untuk tidak terus menjadi beban panti dan ingin sekali membantu biaya operasional panti secara mandiri dengan mengandalkan potensi yang mereka punya, misalnya dengan berbisnis atau membangun usaha seperti berdagang, membuka les private anak SD dan SMP, atau usaha lainnya.
Permasalah yang mereka hadapi adalah minimnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk bagaimana memulai suatu usaha, apa-apa saja yang harus di persiapkan, dan bagaimana caranya mereka dapat akses ke pemodal. Mereka sangat memerlukan bimbingan, pelatihan dan pendampingan berkelanjutan untuk mewujudkan cita-cita dan ide mulianya bagi panti asuhan tempat mereka berada.
Dilihat dari permasalahan di atas, tim pengabdian masyarakat Fakultas Industri Kreatif bekerja sama dengan Kelompok Mahasiswa Desain Komunikasi Visual yang peduli kepada pengembangan jiwa kewirausahaan di kampus dan lingkungan sekitar kampus, sudah melaksanakan kegiatan berupa Program Pengembangan Jiwa Entrepreneurship di Panti Sosial Asuhan Anak Nugraha dengan Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Kewirausahaan secara Berkelanjutan pada tanggal 7 September 2019.
