Sampah merupakan masalah yang selalu kita temui sehari-hari, baik di kota ataupun di kabupaten. Berdasarkan sumber dari Kepala Bidang Pengelolaan Sampah Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kebersihan (DLHK), terjadi peningkatan volume sampah di masyarakat lebih dari 10% terutama pada hari libur dan hari raya. Wilayah kabupaten Bandung biasanya menghasilkan sampah sebanyak 300-350 ton per harinya. Komunitas Muda Berseri Istiqomah di Desa Rancatungku merupakan komunitas dengan gerakan untuk menggalakkan kegiatan zero waste. Untuk mendukung kegiatan ini, diperlukan wadah sosialisasi dan pengumuman kegiatan yang telah dilakukan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh tim gabungan dari 2 fakultas: Fakultas Komunikasi Bisnis dan Fakultas Ilmu Terapan untuk menyediakan tempat untuk sosialisasi ini dengan memanfaatkan media digital berbasis aplikasi. Diharapkan kegiatan ini mendukung gerakan dan kegiatan dari komunitas Muda Berseri Istiqamah secara menyeluruh.
