Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Produksi Sabun Kader PKK Desa Citeureup, Kabupaten Bandung

Desa Citereup merupakan salah satu desa di daerah sekitar Universitas Telkom yang mengalami dampak pandemik COVID-19. Selain banyak anggota keluarga yang terinfeksi virus COVID-19, banyak warga yang penghasilnya berkurang atau bahkan kehilangan mata pencaharian. Pengabdian masyarakat CSE yang dilakukan saat ini adalah periode ke-2 sejak dilakukan pada tahun tahun 2021. Hasil survey dan pelatihan pembuatan sabun periode ke-1 menunjukkan bahwa 89 % peserta pelatihan berminat memiliki usaha sendiri. Pada periode ke-2 ini, bekerja sama dengan BUMDES Desa Citeureup, dilanjutkan proses pelatihan dengan jumlah peserta yang lebih banyak yaitu ibu rumah tangga kader PKK. Kegiatan berupa pembuatan sabun beserta variasinya, pendampingan masyarakat untuk konsultasi ijin edar sabun serta inisiasi produksi massal. Selain itu, sabun hasil pelatihan periode ke-1 diuji pada Laboratorium Uji dan Kalibrasi Balai Besar Kimia dan Kemasan Balai Standarisasi dan Kebijakan Jasa Industri dengan hasil pH sabun sekitar 7,3 dan tidak mengandung bahan berbahaya.
