Pendokumentasian karya seni memiliki peran penting karena seni adalah manifestasi kebudayaan yang bernilai tinggi. Arsip seni memainkan peran strategis dalam pelestarian, penelitian, dan penyebaran informasi tentang karya seni. Dalam penelitian ini, Setiawan Sabana dipilih sebagai subjek karena kontribusinya yang signifikan dalam seni rupa Indonesia. Setiawan Sabana adalah seorang seniman kontemporer Indonesia yang karya-karyanya, yang inovatif dan brilian, telah dipamerkan di berbagai pameran seni baik nasional maupun internasional. Civas ITB, bekerja sama dengan tim Abdimas Telkom University, berinisiatif untuk mempublikasikan arsip karya Setiawan Sabana melalui pameran keliling, berjudul “Aku Kembali Pada Kertas: Pameran Arsip Setiawan Sabana”. Untuk mendukung pameran keliling ini, diperlukan media publikasi yang menggambarkan pameran arsip yang menampilkan sejarah berkarya Setiawan Sabana secara menyeluruh, baik dalam bentuk fisik maupun digital. Diharapkan bahwa perancangan media publikasi pameran arsip ini akan menjadi langkah awal dalam pengarsipan karya seni Setiawan Sabana yang dapat menjangkau audiens yang lebih luas dan memperkenalkan seni kepada mereka yang mungkin tidak terlibat dalam dunia seni konvensional, dengan cara yang lebih representatif
