Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end, or authors can use the manuscript template.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The reference format follows IEEE style.
  • Where available, DOI for the references have been provided.
  • Unverified sources, such as Wikipedia, should be avoided as references.
  • Minimum number of references are 10 with at least half of them are journal or conference articles.
  • At least 80 percent of the references must be published within 3 years.
  • The number of pages ranges from 5 to 10 pages.

Author Guidelines

General Information

  • Manuscripts must be original, have not been published previously in any journal, that manuscripts are not being submitted for publication elsewhere, and will not be submitted to any media during the review process unless the authors have officially withdrawn the manuscripts from CEPAT. CEPAT uses a similarity check powered by iThenticate to prevent any suspected plagiarism in the manuscripts.
  • Manuscripts encompass a broad range of research topics that can be accessed here.
  • The journal is published 4 (four) times a year, i.e. February, May, August, and November.

Submission is open every day. You may submit your manuscript whenever you are ready. Please note that if you submit on holiday or Indonesia's public holiday, we will process your submission on the next business day. Before submission please make sure that your paper is prepared using the journal paper template. The authors must refer to CEPAT Journal for writing format and style. Use a tool such as Mendeley for reference management and formatting and choose the IEEE style. This will ensure fast processing and publication. Any papers not fulfilling the requirements based on the guideline to authors will not be processed.
