Journal of Software Engineering and Multimedia (JASMED) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Telkom University and managed by the CoE Sustainbility Cities, Village and Food Security. The aim of this journal is to publish articles dedicated to all aspects of the outstanding latest developments in the fields of Human-Computer Interaction, Software, and Computer Science Applications Including the entire world.

Software (1712)

The journal addresses topics in Software Engineering, emphasizing methodologies, design principles, and the development of robust software systems. This includes Requirements Engineering, which examines the identification and documentation of user and system needs, and Software Testing, which focuses on verification and validation techniques to ensure software quality.

Human-Computer Interaction (1709)

The journal invites contributions focused on the design and evaluation of user interfaces through a User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) lens. It also emphasizes research in Usability Engineering, which explores the effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction of users when interacting with complex digital environments.

Computer Science Applications (1706)

This includes research on Interactive Multimedia and Digital Games, covering both interactive design and user impact. The journal also embraces topics in Mobile and Web Technologies, focusing on cross-platform application development, as well as Geographic Information Systems, which utilize spatial data to support informed decision-making. Furthermore, emerging topics in immersive technologies—such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality constitute an essential part of the journal's scientific exploration.

Starting May 15, 2025 (Volume 3, Issue 1, 2025), JASMED has migrated to a new system with a new URL: https://journals.telkomuniversity.ac.id/jasmed.

All manuscript publishing processes will now be conducted through this new URL.

Apology for the Delay in 2025 Publications

We sincerely apologize for the delay in publishing Vol. 3 No. 1 (2025) and Vol. 3 No. 2 (2025). Due to a system migration process, both editions could only be released at the end of this year instead of their scheduled dates.

We understand that this delay may have caused inconvenience to our readers and academic partners. We assure you that starting next year, the publication schedule will return to normal, with two issues per year as planned.
