Publication Ethics

Jurnal Rekayasa Sistem dan Industri (JRSI) or Journal of System and Industrial Engineering is committed to ensuring the quality of articles and maintaining the highest ethics in publication standards for all parties, namely journal editors and editorial boards, reviewers and authors. In particular, Jurnal Rekayasa Sistem & Industri (JRSI) follows guidelines based on existing Best Practice Guidelines as defined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

This scientific typographic code statement is a statement of the code of ethics of all parties involved in the publication process of this scientific journal, namely managers, editors, peer reviewers, and authors. The Code of Ethics for Scientific Publication essentially upholds three ethical values ​​in publication, namely (i) Neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in managing publications; (ii) Fairness, which is giving authorship rights to those entitled as authors; and (iii) Honesty, which is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in publication.

Publisher's Responsibility

1. The publisher of Jurnal Rekayasa Sistem dan Industri is responsible for publishing manuscripts that have gone through the editing, review, and layout processes in accordance with the publishing rules of Scientific Journals.
2. The publisher of Jurnal Rekayasa Sistem dan Industri is responsible for guaranteeing academic freedom for editors and reviewers in carrying out their respective duties.
3. The publisher of the Jurnal Rekayasa Sistem dan Industri is responsible for maintaining privacy and protecting intellectual property and copyright, and editorial freedom.

Editor's Responsibilities

1. The editor of the Jurnal Rekayasa Sistem dan Industri is responsible for deciding which manuscripts are worthy of publication.
2. In the process of reviewing and accepting manuscripts, the editorial team of the Jurnal Rekayasa Sistem dan Industri is based on the principle of equal treatment in making decisions to publish manuscripts without distinguishing between race, gender, religion, ethnicity, citizenship, or political ideology of the author.
3. The editor and editorial team of the Jurnal Rekayasa Sistem dan Industri will not disclose any information about the submitted manuscript or manuscripts without the permission of the author.
4. Unpublished manuscripts will not be used by the Jurnal Rekayasa Sistem dan Industri editor's research for their interests and will be returned directly to the author.

Reviewer Responsibilities

1. The Jurnal Rekayasa Sistem dan Industri reviewer assists the editor in making editorial decisions on the submitted manuscripts, including:

3. Manuscript reviews are carried out objectively, and supported by clear arguments.
4. Reviewers of the System Engineering and Industry Journal are responsible for citations, references, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification and plagiarism of the reviewed manuscripts
5. Reviewers of the System Engineering and Industry Journal must always maintain the confidentiality of information and not use information from the reviewed manuscripts for personal gain/interest.

Author's Responsibility

1. The author must present the manuscript of his/her thoughts or research clearly, honestly, and without duplication, data fabrication, data falsification and plagiarism.
2. The author is responsible for the confirmation submitted for the manuscript that has been written.
3. The author must show references from the opinions and works of others that are quoted
4. The author must write the manuscript ethically, honestly and responsibly, in accordance with applicable scientific writing regulations.
5. The author does not mind if the manuscript is edited during the review and layout process without changing the substance or main idea of ​​the writing.
