DATA KOMUNIKASI SECARA REAL TIME MENGGUNAKAN LONG RANGE (LORA) BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS UNTUK PEMBUATAN WEATHER STATION
Abstrak
Weather station adalah suatu sistem yang dibutuhkan untuk memantau kondisi cuaca disuatu area. Sensor sensor yang terpasang biasanya berada jauh dari pusat monitoring dan pencatatannya dilakukan secara real time. Untuk itu diperlukan system komunikasi yang berfungsi untuk mengirim data dari titik-titik sensor ke sistem monitor. Komunikasi yang dibangun pada weather station ini, menggunakan komunikasi data Lora, dan data yang dikirimkan terdiri data dari berbagai sensor. Sensor yang digunakan pada weather station adalah; suhu, kelembaban, intensitas cahaya, tekanan udara, curah hujan, arah angin, dan kecepatan angin. Semua data sensor akan dikirim dari node ke gateway untuk diteruskan ke server Internet of Things. Komunikasi memanfaatkan LoRa yang terpasang di 2 node dan 1 gateway secara topologi star dan half-duplex. Pada sistem ini, dilakukan pengujian jarak pada LoS dan NLoS terhadap RSSI, SNR, delay, throughput, dan packet loss. Data berhasil didapatkan pada LoS sejauh 1 km dan NLoS 500 m. Data yang diterima gateway berhasil dipantau pada Thingspeak secara real time.
