Publication Ethics
TEKTRIKA Journal is committed to ensuring the quality of articles and upholding the highest ethical standards in publication for all parties involved, including the journal editor, the editorial board, reviewers, and authors. In particular, the TEKTRIKA Journal follows guidelines based on existing Best Practice Guidelines as defined by COPE
This Statement of Scientific Conduct serves as a code of ethics for all parties involved in the publication process of this scientific journal, namely the management, editors, peer reviewers, and authors. At its core, the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publication upholds three ethical values in publication: (i) Neutrality, meaning freedom from conflicts of interest in the management of publications; (ii) Fairness, meaning the right to authorship is granted to those who are rightfully entitled to it; and (iii) Integrity, meaning freedom from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in publications.
Publisher's Responsibility
- TEKTRIKA Journal is responsible for publishing manuscripts that have undergone editing, review, and layout in accordance with the standards for scientific journal publication.
- TEKTRIKA Journal is responsible for ensuring academic freedom for editors and reviewers in carrying out their respective duties.
- The publisher of TEKTRIKA is responsible for safeguarding privacy, protecting intellectual property and copyrights, and upholding editorial independence.
Editor's Responsibility
- The editors of the TEKTRIKA Journal are responsible for determining which manuscripts are suitable for publication.
- In the manuscript review and acceptance process, the editorial team of the TEKTRIKA Journal adheres to the principle of equal treatment in making decisions regarding manuscript publication, without discriminating on the basis of the author’s race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or political ideology.
- The editors and editorial team of the TEKTRIKA Journal will not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts without the authors’ permission.
- Unpublished manuscripts will not be used by the editors of the TEKTRIKA Journal for their own purposes and will be returned directly to the authors.
Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers for the TEKTRIKA Journal assist the editor in making editorial decisions regarding submitted manuscripts, which include:
- Reviewers for the TEKTRIKA Journal are responsible for the recommendations regarding the manuscripts they review.
- Manuscript reviews are conducted objectively and supported by clear reasoning.
- TEKTRIKA Journal reviewers are responsible for ensuring that the manuscripts they review are free from citation errors, reference errors, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification, and plagiarism.
- TEKTRIKA Journal reviewers must always maintain the confidentiality of information and must not use information from the manuscripts they review for personal gain or benefit.
Author's Responsibility
- Authors must present their manuscripts the results of their thinking or research clearly, honestly, and without duplication, fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism.
- Authors are responsible for the content of the manuscripts they submit.
- Authors must cite references for the opinions and works of others that they quote.
- Authors must write their manuscripts ethically, honestly, and responsibly, in accordance with applicable scientific writing guidelines.
- Authors agree that their manuscripts may be edited during the review and layout processes, provided that the substance or main ideas of the work are not altered.
