Adanya pandemic Covid-19 memaksa penyelenggara pendidikan melakukan pembelajaran online untuk mencegah penularan penyakit di sekolah. Namun penyelenggaraan pembelajaran online memiliki tantangannya sendiri salah satunya adalah sulitnya menjaga keterlibatan (engagement) siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menjaga keterlibatan siswa adalah dengan menyajikan pembelajaran dalam bentuk video pembelajaran yang menarik. Atas dasar tersebut, pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran di SMP Pajajaran 1 dilakukan. Dampak pembelajaran melalui video animasi diukur untuk melihat ada tidaknya peningkatan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran.
